Sweet, my question is how many valve jobs does it take to get to 100K?

he does it every 25,000 miles. from what i understand, the bike is totally stock, except for 3rd gear and the non-nana seat. same clutch and everything. he's got a milage post that we're all competing with here

Yup yup.... that's mine indeed Up to just a hair over 128,700 now. Only had to actaully 'adjust' the valves one time, which wasn't until right at 100k. I've got to check them again soon though. Still on the original clutch and all original internals on the motor, tranny got a couple new gears and shift forks back in Feb (jumping out of 3rd gear). But that was no biggie.... fixed it myself and she's still running and shifting like a dream!

As far as mods go....
- Hindle titanium high mount slip-on
- PC III USB
- BMC Race air filter
- Ohlins steering damper
- Speedohealer
- Geared down (-1) in the front
- LED integrator taillight
- XenonDepot 4300K HID's (both high and low beam)
- Grip heaters
- '01-03 F4i split seat tail swap
- A little wire thingy to hold my clutch cable down so it doesn't block the speedo

Repairs....
- 32k/45k/100k - replaced CCTL (installed APE manual tensioner at 100k)
- 40k somewhere - replaced front brake rotors (warped)
- 65k replaced broken clutch cable
- 80k replaced original battery
- 100k replaced regulator/rectifier
- 117k replaced 2nd, 3rd, and 6th gears and shift forks
- 123k replaced speed sensor

That's been it.... tranny was the only kinda major thing but was really no big deal. She's been great to me... never once let me down or left me stranded, and starts instantly every time! (well except that one time I left my grip heaters on for 3 days....oops!). I love my bike!
