Default 1" up and back rearsets - meh

Been using them for a while now and I don't feel comfortable on the bike. I'm 5'11" and I find it hard to upshift in the fully tucked position without bringing my head up. On top of that I just feel like it's too aggressive in the legs without the clipons and tank being lower.

Think I'm going back to stock or drilling and tapping some new holes for a 1/2" adjustment.

Anyone else using these and experiencing any issues?

so you just have the holes drilled different? or do you have aftermarket pegs?

I'd be willing to swap if you wanna go back to stock hahah.

I had the same problem as you do.

I ended up adjusting the **** lever down about 3/4 of an inch so it was easier to get with my foot.

Seems like it helped quite a bit but it's still a little weird.

i just hate how flat my foot is when it's on the peg. idk maybe it's just me but i feel like it is too flat

for example when i look at other people on bikes, like especially my friends on gsxrs i feel like they are really angled while mine is just flat unless i put my toes down

Sampson simpson, I stick to my story! I love my risers, been using them for almost 20,000 miles now. Adjust the shifter position if your having trouble shifting. Im 5'10" [maybe 11"].

im 6'2" and i find it best to flip the switch linkage to make it a GP style shifter. its strange at first but feels like butter when you get the hang of it

I think GP shift might be the way to go. gonna have to look into this and advantages/disadvantages on the street.

The reason your foot feels flat is because the clipons are higher and the tank is kinda tall. if you were to rotate forward (flatter tank, lower clipons), the position would be similar just rotated forward.

Maybe it's just MY legs but I think I'm only gonna use the risers on the track. Went back to stock today for a good 100 miles and it felt sooooooo much better. Probably try a half way position this week.
