Default -1 +2 Combo or -1 +3 Combo CBR F4i / CBR FS

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before.
I have a CBR 600 F4i 04' (Banana seat one) and I want to do the commonly done sprocket change mod (-1, +2), went to see the OEM sprocket sizes (I know that on my bike its still the factory one) and it says 45 but you guys on basically all the threads say that the OEM sizes are 16 46 (I've also checked with Honda and for my bike its indeed 16 45 and on the FS its 16 46) , now, since the engine is the same as the F sport and I think there is no differences, should I do -1 +3 or should I stick to the -1 +2?
Is there something that is missing in my thoughts or is there some difference for the factory sizes to be different from the FS and F4i?
Thank you for you help!

All of the models delivered to the US market had 16/46 sprockets. In the EU, some of the models came with 16/45. I can't speculate on why it is. I can see that on this page, the 2004 did have that particular sprocket. BTW, where are you located and what market/country was your bike built for?

Thank you for the reply! I'm located in Portugal and I did the search on that same website. Now, me doing -1 +3 should be the normal -1 +2 right?

I'm not sure what your goal is. And for your bike, -1 +2 may still be normal if there is such a thing. If you're just looking for low end acceleration and you don't care about fuel economy or how high your engine RPM is when riding at highway speed, then I'd say that either of those would be pretty drastic.

Sorry if my choice of words aren't the best.
What I'm saying is if the "normal" sizes are 16 46 and the most common combo is -1 +2 it would be (15, 48) then for mine to be the same it needs to be -1 +3.
And if by drastic you mean like you said (low end accelleration) at cost of a bit of top speed then that's just what I want.
Cheers!

You are correct to get yours to 15, 48 would be -1 & +3, that will be a very significant change and the bike will rev really high in the upper gears. You might well also struggle with the acceleration keeping the front wheel down.
Why not try -1, +1 and see how it feels?

I'm thinking that having the front wheel come off the ground just by thinking about it is what he wants.

I have a -1 +1 kit on my 2002 FSport, makes her get our of the corners a bit snappier. but doesn't make highway runs too much of a ball ache...

Puts me on 15/46 from the original 16/45

That seems like a good compromise
