it my friends bike the bike is an 02 the motor we were told is a 06 put the motor in and it ran great for 3 days and now it wont start i pulled the plugs replaced them and checked for spark by putting the plug to the bare frame no spark. where do i go from here keep in mind i have my bike 100% running order so i starting swaping parts first i tryed ecu them the box that is bolted to the subframe then i swaped the ignition and still nothing SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WERE TO GO NEXT !!!!!!!

 

Before you go swapping out every single part, use a multimeter to make sure that the proper components are getting electricity. Will the headlight turn on when you turn on the bike? Is the engine switch turned off (don't laugh, took my buddy an hour and a half to figure it out once)? A little more info will help us out, not just what you've done but what specifically are the symptoms.

If the bike was working "fine" before there is a high probability that you do not need a lot (if any) new parts, just some more investigation...

 

you check your fuses, etc.?

 

Bad ground somewhere perhaps, dead battery. I was gonna say fuses but Tahoe beat me to it.

 

i said it has no spark meaning the bike cranks and the fuel pump is priming i just spent another hour swaping another ecu, relays,and another box on the side of the frame still nothing oooo and by the way the tip over has been bypassed

 

may be stupid to say but... is the other end of the spark plug wire still plugged in?

if it is, are you getting power to that end of the wire?

you really need a meter to check it i think, will make it all so much easier imo.
