Looks good TYLER. From someone thats done the conversion what you done is ALOT easier and more economical plus would help not reduce trade in value. Not sure how dealerships would view the conversion.

I agree I would totally rather have the split seat conversion, but the cowl is better than nothing for the time being. It looks better at some angles than it does others.

I just removed the spoiler and leave it with the two holes since it is covered by the cowl. As far as how the cowl is attached, it comes with a strap you attach to your seat and then you are supposed to put some screws through the cowl into some clips which hold the strap on the seat. Its a pain in the ***. My cowl sits pretty tight on the bike without it so I didn't bother to screw it on...mostly cause my wife was pissed when I put it on there that I couldn't easily give her a ride anymore. Without the screws I showed her I could just remove it...course then she complained about the missing spoiler....ah women! I haven't had any problems with it coming lose when riding...yet. My advice if you are going to get one, wait and find one that is color matched to your bike. I couldn't find one at the time so got one that I painted myself which was also a pain in the ***, then found a color matched one for less somewhere else.
