06 f4i "fi" light HELP!!!!

Hello all... I am new to the f4i club, I bought this one wrecked from someone... The pros were its an 06 with 6k... cons guy had no idea what he was doing and parts could be from all over?!?! the bike runs fine but there is a "fi" light on the cluster... 1st... the cluster is not form this bike... 2nd the bike has and o2 sensor (apperently a CA) but runs fine... what could be the problem????

FI light could be for a number of reasons. Get a manual (I'm sure there's a downloadable one around here somewhere) and check out the code ... why the bike thinks it needs the FI light lit. That'll at least be a starting point.

how do u read the code???

The manual tells you how to have the computer give out the error code. It'll blink the Fi light and the number of blinks tells what the ECU thinks is wrong.

And all model 06 F4is (cali and non-cali) come with o2 sensors
