06 cbr 600rr motor in a f4i frame

Would it be possible to put a 600rr motor in an 02 f4i frame? How much fabrication or is it not even worth it.

its not really worth it, the F4i engine is just a smidge off of the RR engine the RRs frame design is what makes it what it is. Throw a 954 or 1000 in there if your going to be doing a swap

will a 954 engine mount up in the f4i frame? or will it need to be moded?

My buddy put a 900RR motor into his F2, so I'm sure it can be done to an F4i. His bike is fast, but expect "growing pains"...meaning, expect to spend more time after the install fixing the bugs that pop up. He didn't have to do too much in the way of fabrication to get the motor in. In fact all the work was done in his living room. He's on the F2 forums a lot, his name is BindelsF2. PM him, I'm sure he could give you some good tips.
