I’m new to the forums, just purchased an 04 F4i. When I got it home I realized that the seat, which is a one piece seat, wasn’t staying latched. I checked it out to see a cable that wasn’t attached to anything. The latch is gone. I have done some searching, but I’m not confident enough to order a part without any information and many posts are 404s/dead links. It’s the latch that the key operates.
Could someone please provide me with a part number or a link to the part I need? I’d be grateful.

BTW, before I had found that site, my latching mechanism completely came apart towards the start of a long ride. Got home and told my "engineering inclined" daughter I had a mechanical puzzle for her. She had it figured out within 2 minutes and helped me get it put back together!
