I just bought a 04 F4i and Just noticed the gas gauge does not work. When I turn the key it all illuminates fine and all the bars work along with the reserve light, but my gas gauge does not work after that. Has anyone had this problem or know what is wrong with mine?

The gas gauge only appears when it hits reserve. Otherwise you will not see it.

 

There is no gas gauge. Just a reserve light that comes on; at .92 gallons left. When that light comes up, it will come on with 4 bars lit up. Those bars will start to disappear on a time basis.

It sounds like everything is working just fine. There is no gas gauge on our bikes.
