03 Cbr F4i turning off when rpms drop
 

hi my name is Emmanuel I have an 03 cbr 600 f4i. Lately my bike has been turning off on me when I go down to idle. It starts off fine and when I begin to ride it drives fine while giving it gas but as soon as I let go to downshift or stop as soon as the rpms drop it turns off. I can be stopped at idle and when I give it gas and go up to like 5,000 rpms when I let go it goes all the way down and turns off. I tried turning the idle adjuster and still have no luck. It also started smelling more like gas if that has anything to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Would look at your Fuel Pressure Reg and the Wax Idle Unit

When I had this problem cabaret and another kind soul here helped a lot in diagnosing. May be you can check my thread here. If the fuel pressure regulator is fine then probably you can check your vaccum lines. In my case it was a leaking vaccum line on the throttle bodies
