Sorry still a noob lol
My bike doesn't need brakes yet but just trying to be proactive about it. Looking at RevZilla and BikeBandit its showing several types and designs that all fit my bike. I'm just curious as to what everyone recommends.I'm pretty sure EBC is the standard from what I've seen but sintered pads vs organic, I'm just not sure. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Sintered is stock. EBC HH pads are garbage. Just run oem pads. They are excellent on the F4i. Stepping up to something decent[read: better then oem] is about $80/caliper so $160 a front brake job, vs like half for the excellent oem pads.

 

I swapped out my stock pads for the EBC HH before my first track day. I won't go so far as to say they are garbage but it did take me a long time to adjust to their "feel" and that feel isn't any better than stock. If I had to do it over, I would have just kept the stock pads and saved up for Vesrahs or braided steel lines...

 

"decent" sounds like a little too much for my taste. I'll stick with what seems to be good. I'll probably order some OE pads on Revzilla when the time comes. Preciate the input boys.
