Default 02 Cbr 600 F4i Undertail Need Help

I need help finding this undertail. The left light is out and wont pass inspection, I thought it might be the hotbodies undertail but it just doesnt look exactly the same with the turn signals being under the running lights anyone have a answer for this Please and Thank You. Either a replacement taillight or if I need to order a new undertail. Just bought the bike last month and getting it ready for riding season.

hi and welcome.

Use standard bulb troubleshooting steps:

1. remove bulb and measure resistance with multimeter. Is filament intact or broken? Test bulb by connecting directly to battery. Does it light?

2. key On, measure voltage at empty bulb-socket. Does it have power?

3. measure resistance to ground on empty-bulb socket. Does it have ground connection?

This 5-min fix with multimeter... or less

Those bulbs look like they will come out and be able to be replaced. Twist it 1/8 turn and see.

Look closely at bulb all around metal base. There may be voltage+amp rating stamped on it somewhere.

Now that you have bulb out, does it light up if you connect directly to battery?

Turns out theres a 3rd wire coming out of the housing. I thought it was only 2 any idea if I can open the housing and solder it back, I couldnt find any way to get the housing out from the undertail.

Probably need to remove undertail from bike to remove bulb-socket to repair that.

Need to loosen up wiring. That white/black bulb socket's gonna break next.
