Default '01 Starting/Idling/WOT Problem help?!

First, Hey everybody!

Second, '01 F4i bought it with 5k miles, now has 6700 miles....problems arising.

Started with a rather BIG delay in throttle response when I open it up. If i roll on the throttle it takes off but if I "slam" it open i can actually count until she takes off. Is that normal? If not, problem? remedy?

Second problem is the CCT? rather audible rattle/vibration from aprx 4700 rpms to 5200 rpms. I heard that most bikes just have a point where the engine speed causes the bike to resonate but then read all about the CCT in F4i's. Could it already be bad with 6700 miles? How do I go about fixing it?

Third problem is a Starting/idiling. This is the most recent problem that has gotten to be a pain. Fi light comes on, pump primes. fires right up....from a cold start. A hot start usually involves the first time I start it, it starts, sputters and dies. Second time it will crank but not fire until I give a bit of throttle. Sitting at a light it will idle down from about 1k to 700 or sometimes even 500, lights dim. Problem? Remedy?

Thanks for the help! First bike, let me know if anything is unclear.

With the delay in response, are you referring to taking off from a stand still? If so, the power band doesn't really start to pick up until about 4K RPM, and doesn't fully kick in until about 6K. If your talking about rolling take offs, then I'm wondering if it might not be fuel delivery related. The FPR (fuel pressure regulator) has been known to go bad on these bikes, which might explain why it's cutting out when it's warmed up. But it could also be electrical, in which case you'll need a Service Manual and a multimeter. Have you tried raising the idle speed?
Regarding the CCTL, it possibly could be the culprit. The bike is 8 years old after all, and the symptoms you describe are typical CCTL. Here's a tutorial: LINK.
