RE: 01 f4i- rev limiter. Not for more power...
lol i know what your saying...and i love the f4i....ive been on my brothers gsxr600 and my buddies gsxr1k and with the setup i have its faster then the 6 and pulls almost as well as the 1k...in 1st gear anything above 5k rpms on my f4i, gun it and its a wheelie, take off and if you give it to much gas to soonthe frontwill creep up on its own. Im still trying to get used to first gear. The top end was pretty much to keep up with the gsxr...my bro will end up passing me as i am topped out at 145 and the 1k just keeps pulling. The f4i is a beautiful cornering machine. I will never sell mine. and im sorry i didnt mean to be a dick.

I could understand a post stating a warning, about the dangers of raising my redline. Thats cool. But when someone was trying to tell me I need more power, or different aerodynamics to reach speeds of a stock bike, they just werent listening to me. Maybe I was just really unclear as to what I wanted. Maybe they were not understanding me. In any case, I really wasnt trying tobe rude. I apologize if I was. I was just getting frustrated because I asked a simple question. "How do I raise the rev limiter?" and all I was getting was everything but an answer. Im sorry if I let my frustration out on you guys.
Any chance for forgivness?
