01 F4i Hesitating Please help
 

I just purchased a F4i from a guy that knew nothing about bikes and bought this from insurance company. I got the bike running and it seems to hesitate around 7 - 8 rpm before it engages when you crank on the gas It has a power commander installed and thats about all I know so far what troubleshooting steps should I take??

Take it to a dealer, and say, "This is the problem, how boned am I going to be for you to fix it?"

But really, it sounds like the Power Commander could've been tuned like that? Not really sure.

Start by putting in fresh gas, then try unhooking the PC. If that helps, then there's the problem... proly got a bad map. Could need new plugs. The injectors could be dirty (sea foam should fix this). The FPR could be shot (doubt it though)
