So i did my fork seals the other day and the service manual tells you to install the spring tapperd side up. But my springs had the tapperd side down. Anyone know which is the correct way the springs should go?? Please help

 

I'd go with what the manual says. That is why you bought it. Previous mechanic
probably didn't have the manual/experience to know better, is my guess.

Yea but they have never been done before so that's what stock is. but manual says up.
