i agree with the 3500.00 offer. i wouldn't go over that. i paid 3500.00 for an '03 that looked like crap and needed a new front tire, mirrors and front turn signals.

 

i picked up an 02 f4i w/7200 miles on it for 3500 with a rebuilt title.... decent shape, had been fixed up, minor scratches and a scuffed up stator cover. That was the best deal i could find without going across the country.

 

ya and my friend pointed this out to me a lil while ago. the tail section on the bike is the wrong color he said... red/white paint scheme the tail section should be whtie he said.. and this one was red, like off his red/black f4i... so im thinking theres a couple stories that havent been told about this bike, b/c the guy was like this is a rare color combo blah blah blah and kept pushing that it was rare ha and i was thinking to myself.. im just going to paint the dang thing white anyways haha

 

This bike seems to have the sad history of an exciting life lol. Be sure you weigh your options on what you know about the bike (which doesn't sound to good) and what you don't (how bad could it get?) before you commit. Just my 2cents.
