i need the pair solenoid valve for my bike, cant find a used one anywhere in my town...would also need the hoses and small air filters too if possible...Attachment 10391
this is just a pic i found off the forum but it controls the air going to the slides and affects the carbs...wont hardly run without it...please help. thanks :icon_screwy: |
You ca remove the bloody thing and run direct ram air bypassing the valve
You wont notice any difference, its needed only for speeds under 12mph anyway. |
Ahh... smog junk.

well i searched all over today and didnt find that part which the mechanic said i HAD to have to keep it from cutting out at speeds over 45mph...which i couldnt get it over...he said that part controled the slides so i put two and two together and covered the ram air in front of the bike half way and it runs fine now...so i can run thw two big hoses from the ram air directly into the inputs on the carbs? and itll run fine?

well someone sent me a breakdown on how to bypass all that smog junk but i cant for the life of me remember the name of that person, if anyone was that person please msg me and let me know cause it worked great and fixed my problem right up...and i wanna save the link you sent for bypassing it...made life alot easyer...thanks again

Well mine kept my bike for going over 45.. Then i pulled off the valve and it runs like a champ now. Turns out it was rusted and kept it from getting air or something

Well, considering that that is what provides a lot of your air at speed, I wouldn't, you will probably have a hard time to get it to run right, and also that was the main reason the f3 has more horsepower than the f2.

He's testament that it works fine... might get a tad lean from the main air below 12mph since its main air hoses the whole time. |
