Looking good so far. Awesome to see someone tearing into the engine.

 

So whats the verdict, how'd the engine rebuild turn out? I already have mine pulled apart ready to split. Sure could use some words of wisdom and advice.

Sorry everybody, I've been making slow progress for a long time now but I am finally putting the hammer down and trying to get it finished.

I'll do a thorough update when it is complete, but for now here is a little teaser: (PS, that's an F3 engine)

Looks like it's finally coming together. Could be a ROTM contender. The head looks great.

 

Hah, that's the head from my F2 motor... it's nasty! :P

 

You had the parts powder coated or spray painted?? I am looking to do a quick rebuild on my and the budget is tight, just looking for some hints. Also, the tubing for the wire harness came blue like that or you painted that as well??

 

Everything is powder coated, I ordered the blue tubing for the harness online... My project had no budget in mind, so if you want to stay on the cheap I wouldn't copy me lol.
