Starting issue
So ive replaced the battery on my 94 f2 . to have it running like a champ evrrything works better now but i am having this wierd problem.. When i go to start the bike after a couple minutes of not riding maybe up to an hour or so it starts right up .. But if it sits overnight and i want to start it in the morning . it simply wont turn over . if i switch the reserve tank slot to on off res fast and repeat it wants to start but needs a little help. So i got some carb spray and sprayed it directly into the carbs under the gas tank . it starts right up and idles at 2000 rpms. I let it sit and it runs perfectly fine . i can ride it however long until i let it sit until the next morning . like i said if i turn it off and attempt to start it (after the carb spray) it starts right up. But wont start if it sits too long any ideas ? And is starter fluid bad to use or is that prefered over carb spray . both are flamible!!

#6 in the diagram. You know...that thing you use to turn the gas on or off or onto reserve...
On the F2's, you have to have the petcock turned to 'On' and you need vacuum from carb #1 through the vacuum hose that runs from the carb to the petcock, else fuel will not flow.

Got it
so does that affect the engine whike its running ? Becuase it gets fuel and will run for as kong as theres gas in the tank its simply just starting only if it sits long

The diaphragm may be brittle or otherwise uncooperative and the vacuum you get from cranking may not be enough to allow gas to flow. You can certainly take it apart and see what's up if you like.
Bottom line is that you say that flipping the petcock from On to Off to Reserve a few times and you can get it started. So, logically it would seem to be an issue with the petcock. The one I installed from a '98 F3 works great, but I have to get back into the habit of turning off the gas when I park, and remember to turn it on when I start it up.
