rod knock!!
 

ok so after i put a new trani in the bike then pulled the engine again to replace the head gasket and been ridin it for awhile now i have a bad rod bearing. i pulled the engine again and found the bad bearing. what causes this!? inst it unheard of for the most part?? i dont get it and im getting agitated with this thing having every problem in the world! i went and tried to get a newer bike but couldnt so i want to fix and sell my f2. just wondered if anyone had any ideas on wtf is going on with this thing.

Poor engine assembly technique could cause a spun bearing.

well i hade the engine apart before but havent touched the crank or rods because there wasnt an issue with any of it before. i was running rotella 5w 40 i was thinking maybe thats a little too thin.

Shouldn't be excessively thin at this time of year unless you live somewhere really hot
