You could probably add a spacer on top of your springs to add some stiffness, I'm no suspension whiz but I have heard of this as a cheap method.

Default yep

Yes you hes right you can add a spacer and you will like this since your a cheap ace

Go to ace, get some type of tubing, i used copper, cut a sleeve and add that to your fork internals.

What will it do? right? Well theoretically your spring rate is linear with a 1mm of travel for every 1 lb added downward, by adding the spacer you can change the dynamic and it will act like a stiffer spring because it will already be partially compressed with the spacer on it.

get it ?

I'm probably going to update the front forks on mine by at least replacing the springs with racetech ones setup for my weight. I'll post when I get around to it!

Racetech springs are as far as I am going to go. I also will update in a week or two.

You don't need any specialty tools like a compression tool right? Simple install without all the hassles?

You will need a fork seal driver, or a piece of PVC pipe with an ID 42mm or greater to install the fork seals... Aside from that, basic tools.

PS.

I would recommend new fork seals if you are taking your forks apart.

I just replaced them and think I can reinstall them carefully enough. Springs don't need a compressor tool?

Nope, just strong hands to push the fork cap down while threading it back into the fork tube

The best way is installing from the top to load the springs? I don't want to dismantle the forks. All for a better ride.
