Default Noise when in Neutral, vibrating felt through the bike

Bought this bike used about a month ago and has 70 000 km's on it.

So. I adjusted my CCT and realized it was making a tonne of noise. Once that quieted down I am now noticing a vibrating/almost ginding type noise when the clutch lever is disengaged when in neutral. I can feel it in my butt and hands on the handlebars. Any ideas?

I'm very familiar with automotive mechanics and to me...if this were a car. Would be a release bearing type noise for a hydraulic clutch set-up..hmm..

Any input would be great. Or, if this is normal...I highly doubt that though.

Thanks for the quick reply and link. After reading that I feel a lot better about my noise. It is in no way excessive at this point. I jsut like getting to the bottom of the small noises and quirks on anything I work on..

Thanks again!

Sounds like your squirrel bearing is out. An easy fix is to remove your spark plugs and jam acorns down into the cylinders. This should satisfy the squirrel bearings temporarily, but plan on shoving acorns into your cylinders every 300-800 miles.
