Default Need help bad...

Ok I'm trying to sell me bike so I can get a new one, but I have to get this one running before I sell it.

I was working on the rectifier and the wires touched. I got a new wire harness so it wasn't on correctly. So the wires were exposed and they touched.

I then go a new fuse for the starter relay and it ran fine. When I turned it of to see if it would start again nothing happens. I can push start it. But when I hit the starter nothing happens. The only light on my speedometer that works is the high beem and it turns off when I hit the starter switch.

Can someone please help me. I'm so ready to get back on the road.

Default Starter not working

My rectifier wires were exposed cause I got a new one. I was trying to fix it and the wires touched.

Now when I hit the starter nothing happens. I checked all the fuses and got a new relay. Still nothing. I could push start it but not anymore

Check the main 30amp fuse. Not sure where it is on the F2.
On the F3, it's in the same housing as the starter relay.
Un-do the connector and you can open the housing to access it.
It may be similar for the F2.

Check your battery too. My bike did the same **** with a bad battery. Also, if your jumping the bike with a bad battery it'll destroy your electrical system an replace the r/r again

Sounds like a nearly dead (or maybe just uncharged) battery, and likely a failure in the charging system. (Most likely a failed stator.)
