how hard is it to pull your clutch in?
Lets do this as kinda a survey questiony thing..
on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being easy as puck, and 5 being way to hard, rate what its like pulling in your clutch lever.. Mine being like a one, i can literally use one finger to pull it in and i'm worried that somethings up. i've ridden several different bikes and there normally pretty difficult to pull the lever in to engage the clutch but mines super simple and wondering if its broke or something |
I would rate mine somewhere between 2-3. I probably could pull mine in with one finger, but it'd take a lot of effort...

3 ish, but I dont even use it unless Im downshifting most of the time

2 fingers, no problem. I lube it on a regular basis with a little cable-clamp, spray-can
adapter. Hose it till it runs out the bottom. I dig the whole "well oiled machine" concept. Ern |
alright cool, i'm going to go ahead and make my clutch lever a shorty then
|
Don't use oil on cables... Use a dry lubricant like graphite.. Oil can gum up and stick and it also holds dirt in it ;)
|
+1 to cbrmaxxam. The lube I use is a molebendium with a carrier that evaporates and
leaves the cable clean and dry after a few minutes. Ern |
