Default Fitting a Replacement Centre Stand

I have the bike, I have the stand but I'd just like to check the fitting as I cannot find any pictures or diagrams.

My assumption is that the shaft fits from the rhs and that the spring linkage goes on the lhs passing underneath the shaft using a shouldered bolt so that it will tighten but not clamp the linkage.

Then again, we all know what assumptions do, so could anyone confirm this.

TIA.

OK, as soon as I started to try the job I found the anchor point on the bottom of the frame where the linkage hooks on passing over the shaft, much more in line with the anchor point on the stand itself.

All it took from there was working out a straight route to pull on the spring and find an able assistant to help pull whilst I fiddled the end of the spring onto the anchor.

Job done - next :-)
