Default F2 tick and Knock on cold startup

Hello, new guy here, Thanks in advance! I owned a '79 Goldwing and found a lot of great info at ngwclub. I am sure I will find the same here. I bought a '93 F2 this Thanksgiving weekend and I am noticing a random "tick" and a "knock" on cold startups with the choke on. Seems to go away when the engine is warm. A video with sound can be found below. The tick is audible throughout the video but the knock is less frequent and a bit more subtle. Knocks can be heard at :07 sec (faint) and :20 sec (louder). I did see the posts about replacing the CCT. If it was the CCT I would think it might be less of a random noise?

I'm going to go with CCT on this one. They can make a couple different noise from a random tick at the beginning to a can full of marbles later on.
Good news is there is no harm waiting and seeing. It will just be more louder and more consistent. Mostly rattle at cold startup.
But can also rattle after high rpm runs when you back off the throttle.

It not so much a matter of if the CCT is going bad. It's a matter of when. They all seem to go bad eventually.
Replacing it with a manual one is simple and easy and a permanent fix.

One last thing, that's a damn nice looking bike. Congrates.

Thank you Phil314, we'll keep an ear on her and swap it out when the time comes.

Yeah, that sounds about right for a CCT too.
I eventually replace the one on my current bike around 60k.
Sounded like the engine was coming apart at that point.
I should have done it sooner.
But it's been all quiet for a long time since then.
