Post F2 factory suspension settings

I have 94's front forks and i wonder what is the right factory setting for them.. ? I will setup the preload to fit my weight, but rebound is what matters... I'm having problems on the track while braking rough with a front wheel response...
Thanks for advices in advance!

94 cbrs weighed pretty much the same as the 91s. Race track settings I have seen are 1 turn out from full in on rebound. Oil weight will affect this as well. The oil level can also be played with. More oil (5-20 cc's) will help to prevent bottoming. You didn't really say what your problem was. Breaking in a straight line, leaned over, chatter, etc. Put a zip tie around the fork leg to see how much travel you're using. Tire pressue can be an issue. Rear shock setting can also affect how much weight is transfering on to the front. Lots of issues that are interlinked.

The problem was when i was braking in a straight line - i belive my front wheel was bottomed, because it begun to be a bit bumpy. 91's have different forks, so their settings has do be different. Sure i had zip ties on the forks, but i can't remember if i was hitting the endstops and i don't know how much the fork can dive until hitting the endstop.
Maybe i will loosen both - the preload and rebound, meet the endstop with zip tie installed and then make some changes to the settings. But still... if someone know the factory settings, it would be great asi it should provide a compromise for most rider's usage and it's a best start to do some modification to the setting for a guy who don't live off setting the chassis..

btw... difference betwen 91 (F2), 94(F2) and 95(F3):

If you are bottoming out a max preload on the track it sounds like you need some stiffer springs. I have Progressive Suspension's springs in mine now. I ran Laguna Seca with Reg Pridmore's Class track school and had my preload maxed out with the stock springs. Rebound damping will slow down pogoing, but too much or too soft of spring rates will let the front pack down over bumps. Progressive has different spring rates I believe. Choose the ones for your weight and watch how long you cut the preload spacers as I heard the dimensions they spec are a little too short.
