For all of you trying to do this swap... and for those who don't use ebay (which generally is a rip off, due to shipment cost, which is where sellers make their money b/c ebay takes a cut off the sale price)... simply go to http://www.riderparts.com ... this is a serach engine that covers north america... it will send out your part request to literally almost every cycle salvage establishment in north america... free to register... punch in your part number or part description amnd make and model it's for... within 24hrs you have emails from salvage yards with the part that you require at reasonable prices... pretty genius if you ask me... anyways... thought it could help

Hey friends , I have started doing the swap on my 91 f2 600 , so far the gauges work light up and all the sweet things
with the eception of the speed meter , I have placed the sprocket cover with sensor ,
straight to the cluster it only reads about 5 mph or prob a bit more or less .
I got the speedo healer v4 but I'm having trouble wiring it up I don't know how , and the instructions don't help much .
it does not register anything on the tach . I tried different wiring layouts and still no
results The S-H lights up and runs what I program in it but that's all . I'm pretty sure in doing something wrong but I can't figure it out . Would you be willing to help me out with the sensor/speedo healerv4 wiring And calibration ?
I belive everything else is stock on the bike , I'm so frustrated I just want to ride it agian already .
Thanks

Default I've released the code for my diy speedohealer

Hey Guys,
I did a quick writeup on my motokomp/diy speedohealer and have finally posted code.
I will probably be releasing a kit at some point in the next few months.

Check out the info on my new company's wiki: wiki.powercordlabs.com

since i havent done this yet, im not sure how far off the speed sensor is without the speedohealer. but is the issue something that putting an inline resistor in would fix?

If you are riding 80 mph the speedo will show around 20mph!!! is that off !!! i did it then i buy a KOSO gauge which will come with all sensors including the temperature etc see my bike with the gauge on youtube:
is an F2 custom Streetfighter with 06 R1 suspension front and rear, in my videos you will see the other F2 streetfighter with the F4i gauge everything will work as the writeup says but definitely youneed the speedo healer and the temp gauge will never work even if you change the sensor.

this is the other bike i build before my kid was very young lol both bikes are gone now

did this swap thismorning. followed the rules but not all wires are being used. still have about 3 wires left on the f2 side that have no home and black/brown which apparently gets used multiple times. I can see other people followed this and had success... for me, only the turn signals and the high beams work. nothing else lights up and i have homeless wires.
