Default F2 With F3 Clocks

Hi all, this is my first post on ths forum,i have recently purchased a CBR600 F2 with a F3 front end, wiring harness and clocks.
I m aving a problem getting the speedo to work, everything else on the cluster works, even the oddmeter is working.
The bike had some sort of aftermarket speed sensor fitted to the sprocket cover but after testing it wasn`t working,so i put a 900 fireblade sprocket sensor on and it reads fine at the clock end(between 0-5 v when spining wheel) but speedo is still not working......Any idea`s...Thanks..Steve

Test the speedo circuit to see if it is shorted or not grounded. If you are getting signal voltage to the speedo it seems like either the signal is not the right form or the speedo is not converting it to read out.
