Default Electrical question

I recently received my after market turn signals. I got the cheapo amber cat eye flush mounts for the front and some shorty stem type for the rear. They are incandescent so I don't have to worry about putting extra resistance in the wiring, whatever that device is, I don't remember. I did, however, notice that in the front, at least, there are three wires to each connector for the turn signals. Are the fronts marker lights as well? If this is the case I think I'm gonna have a problem. How can I keep the front TSs as marker lights too? Or do I have to mount other lights too? I'm not sure how those work anyway, when you hit the TS does one of the wires interrupt the circuit thus making it blink? Hmm!

I believe there's a green for ground, the solid is the cruise(marker) and the
color+white is the turn signal, on the harness itself. If your after-markets are just single-element
bulbs then you're not going to have running lights with them, unless you swap the
sockets out or add an additional light for that function. I would recomend some kind
of running light, rather than eliminating them. The side visibility is greatly enhanced,
especialy at night.
