Default Connectors

Hey guys!

I am doing an overhaul and maybe a few modifications of the wiring harness, and have completely disconnected the headlight and panel. Since I'm kind of fond of constructing plug and play-systems I would like to have the same kind of lockable connectors as is mounted in the long rack connecting the instruments to the wiring harness. I am now looking for the correct pins and sockets to be able to solder my own connectors and just plug them in. Any ideas of what kind of pins and sockets they use? The pins are flat and I am assuming the matching females are square or rectangular to fit. In Sweden, you are more likely to encounter either huge cable connectors or round pins with round females to them.

Thanks!

Migge

I didn't manage to find the correct plug but at least I found out that the flatpins are 2,8 mm in case someone else needs to know.

Exactly! I wasn't able to find them in any store in Sweden for immediate purchase so I settled for the pins. Next time I'll buy the connectors from this site. Thanks, man! By the way, any ideas for how to hide the wire harness? The headlight setup doesn't really offer any space to tuck relays, wires and plugs inside and I don't want to cut away anything since I want my modification to be easily reversible. I was thinking of some kind of plastic box that I can attach to the fork tubes somehow.

Back when i performed the wire tuck on my f2. I removed the motor mount plates indivually, the gas tank, and the Airbox it allows you shove the harness on the inside of the frame most of the bulky components upfront should be able to slide in the space just above the radiator under the air box and also in the tail section. I did the f4i conversion as well as the 600rr tail. Best of luck remember where there is a will there's a way.
