Sounds like it ran out of fuel, Check the petcock is working ok and no vacuum lines or breather hoses are pinched if you've had the tank off.

You are turning off the choke right? +1 on checking the petcock. Keep in mind there is a vacuum hose that goes from Cylinder one to the petcock.

yeah i know about the vaccum hose and i checked the petcock by sucking on it with it off/ on seemed to work i'll do all those things again. Do you think it could be bad jets or needles or something?

new update: The gas was low so i put more in it idk if that did anything and it started up just fine today I was able to ride it about a mile and a half but as it warmed up it became increasingly harder to keep alive as I came to stops (I had to rev it up or keep it at a high rpm). And eventually it would did and i would have to try and start it again + high traffic situation = not good. Anyone know what this might be? Could it be the pilot jets?

The only thing i can think of is one of breather hoses that run down the middle of the bike is pinched, has happened to me before, If you have a spare key maybe try opening the gas cap when it happens to see if it makes a difference.
