Default 94 f2 overheating, milky mocha color in coolant!!

The bike road fine two days ago, then i take it out today and after 5 miles down the road it shuts off while im driving due to overheating. I pulled over, cranked it back on and coolant began shooting out of the overflow tube and then boiling out of the overflow reservoir. My coolant is red and it was coming out like a coffee/mocha color and was thick. After it cooled off i took off the cap to the radiator and there was white oily foam substance inside!

I was told its probably the head gasket but I have no idea?? Could it just be the waterpump?

Could also be the oil cooler seals.

ok, whats the easiest way to get to the head gasket? Do I have to drop the engine down off the frame and how many pounds of tork is needed putting it back on? Thanx for the help, slowly learning this bike inside and out.

Someone else here just had a recent problem with oil and coolant mixing. Which is what could be happening with your bike.

Is it just small area's that are dark or is it the complete coolant mix that is just dark looking?

How recent did you notice this/ how long has it been going on?

Are you leaking anything from the bike on the outside that you can visually see?

It's not too hard to remove the engine, but it does take a bunch of time. Don't just put a new head gasket on, there's a good chance your head or block are warped, or both. It's probably not the oil cooler gaskets, cause it's unlikely that would cause the bike to overheat that badly or shoot hot antifreeze in the overflow that way. Is there white smoke in your exhaust? If that's true, you're burning antifreeze. Even if it's not white, I'd bet it's the head gasket. If it's overheating this bad, it's probably doing damage to your head and block deck anyways from the heat.

You can download a free service manual for the F2, it has all the torque values and stuff:

I would prob be that guy lol Mine isnt overheating, so I hope to God its my oil cooler vs a head gasket or worse.. (block/head damage) Heres the copy/paste from my post just for GP
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! She did it a couple years ago. Threw some block seal(!!_I know..) in her and hit the road. Ran fine. Stopped mixing oil+water. Put the bike into storage for over a year. Just pulled her back out a couple weeks ago and she has been running fine.. until the other day when she started mixing again :-(

Does it sound like a gasket? Cracked block?? Maybe a cracked oil or coolant passage?? I'm dreading having to pull the motor and tear it apart. Think I'd rather just try to find a cheap replacement motor than go through that crap. Killing part is how it runs just fine...

Brian: It shot out the mocha color at first then it was just the red coolant I had in there. After I checked the radiator later on I couldnt even see any coolant inside and there is white oil residue on the cap and inside.

It had never done this before, which is why im so puzzled. And no im not leaking anything on the outside of the bike that I can see.

Jtkardle: There is no smoke in my exhaust at all and there never was. I can understand that the head or block could be warped because it got soo damn hot, but the bike still starts up right away and runs fine... I would have to think that if something did warp, it wouldnt run or it would sound like ****?? I really hope thats not the case. I ordered the head gasket and oil cooler o rings and am going to replace them, see what happens and pray.
