Default Clutches. New springs??

So when I got this bike the. Clutches were burnt up, steels an friction plates. Ordered new ones. I check the clutch springs free length, they were within service limits (barely). Judder spring still good as far as I could tell. It's been maybe 1200 miles (2k km) and as soon as I get into Fifth or six in the higher rpms SLIPPIN . Thought it was carb issue but I can down shift to forth an wind out no problems. Haven't tore into it yet (gonna wait till springs an clutches come in) but I think it's the springs being wore out. Any thoughts? Maybe cable not adjusted right idk.

Default Fixed it

New springs put in. Chose wiseco springs, they're a bit stiffer; but now she stays in gear and doesn't slip anymore.

Did you soak the new clutch fibers before installing them?

Weird. Usually if you have a problem with the clutch it's the fibers being worn. I don't think I've ever seen springs wear out. I've even seen some beyond the service limit, but the clutch still worked. No idea why changing yours seems to have fixed the problem.

But, hey, what the heck, it's works now, so ride it.

Default Right!

That's what I thought. Thought maybe the stack height was off. When I took it apart it all looked good an measured fine. But the springs however.....(left is new spring) .
