Talking about the side/rear fairings on the bike, the ones alongside the seat to the tail.
There isn't anything on my bike for the lower front connection to go into.
It's the (+) thing with the flat head on the other side.

I'm not sure what kind of tab or whatever it connects to, but I need one for each side.

Actually if you have a picture of that piece i would appreciate pictures so i know what i'm looking for. Hoping it wasn't a part of the frame itself that got ground off or something.

 

If i understand correctly what your talking about, that plastic screw should connect to a tab on the front fairings if they are stock. however if your fairings are aftermarket from ebay or something, they might not have that particular setup (mine didnt) so you might have to figure a different way to fasten that area.....(i drilled it out and used a different screw.)

 

Yeah, my bike doesn't have the forward side fairings. Makes sense though.
The rear/side fairings on my bike now have holes drilled + bolt. Guess that's what I will do for these new ones.
