I was able to reuse my stock gauges but I had to cut down all of the excess black trim...

I'll take some pics tomorrow of other important odds and ends of the conversion... Just a warning tho, if you cut your subframe and bend it up a few degrees which most people do so that the subframe doesn't stick out, HAVE SOMEONE WELD IT... and didn't and had it snap off while riding and take my plate and my mount for the cowl and everything with it

Man, that's sharp! Are you gonna put up pics of all your conversion hardware and locations? I've been fiending to do this swap on my '92, but am clueless about fabricating all the mounts, brackets, and such. If possible, could you show where you cut--and how far you bent--the subframe? I think that particular detail is what really "sells" the look of these conversions. Awesome work!

---This second pic is how I mounted the rear most part to secure the tail down... doesnt look all that sturdy but I opted to put a cowl on as my gf has an R6 so I have no need for a passenger. It is pretty sturdy unless some idiot comes and tries to jump up on it or something. There is no reason why anyone should have to even touch this part

--- The last pic is how I mounted the seat... I'm like 160 lbs and have been riding like this for months now and have had no problems (notice how the last 5 inches of my subframe ((the part I cut and tilted up)) is missing... rattled off and took my plate and cowl mount with it)

All in all, I'd say I did a pretty good job to say I did everything with basic tools in an apartment complex. The only thing I would have done differently was have someone weld the subframe after I bent it up which was my dumb fault. Just remember, use blue Loctite on all new mounting location bolts because they will rattle out... but you should do this anyway right???
