Wheel striping

Got mine from tapeworks.com, and they look GREAT. Tons of reflective colors. They come in long strips so you don't have to deal with the weird quarter overlapping. They also give you an extra strip just in case. Color matches NICE, and the reflectivity is on par with DOT standards. You WILL need a jack or stand for this. BE VERY ****ING PATIENT when putting it on. Find a line of light reflecting off the rim, and align the tape to that. make sure you don't move your head or shoulders while you're doing it, or you'll throw your alignment off.
Nothing special to take care of it. Don't get the junky "Hong Kong" or $5 stuff, the adhesive isn't as high of a quality, and more likely to get goofy.

i did the rim tape about a year ago, got it off of ebay. its held up fine so far. here's a pretty cool link to get the tape applied nice and even around the rim, this is what i used and it came out perfectly even. really smart/simple tool that will take you about 2 mins to make.

I bought some stripping from ebay for my bike. I tried putting it on the rear wheel, and it was much harder than it seems. You have to line it up exactly, and not stretch the tape or it looks horrible. Now I'm stuck with one side of the tower with patchy red tape lol. I'm gunna wait and have it done during Biketoberfest this coming october.
I've tried using a heat gun to remove the tape to no luck. Any ideas??
