Default Is this Leagal

So i was at the Suzuki dealership in sioux falls and they asked me what kind of bike i had

I proudly told them Honda CBR600! F3 smokin joe,

well the ladie that i was chatting with stoped and told me that the decals on that bike were compleatly illeagal!!

Are the decals on the smokin joe leagal or ileagal?

Please help me!!

Tell her she is F'in dumb like so dumb that it is illeagal for her to breed. Ive had 2 of them. GOD PPL ARE DUMB

Shes only jealous cuz suzuki has had the same decal scheme on there bikes for the last 15 years. Its a special edition bike ride it with pride my brother ride it with pride

They couldn't put it on the bike, and sell it new at a dealer if it were illegal. that being said, then the Repsol Paint Scheme is Right Out!

I think she maybe partly right. The "Joe Camel" marketing tobacco campain and any other that target childern is indeed illegal according to current laws. The fact that your bike has the Joe Camel paint sceme does not make it illegal, unless you are selling smokes off the back of your bike???

She is not educated to the facts or just has them mixed up.

They are illegal now but not in 96? when the bike was originally produced. It is now illegal to use cartoons in the marketing of cigarrettes. Being that your bike came that way from the factory, I'm sure that it has been "grandfathered".

She might be getting confussed with some information i also heard about it now being illegal for tobacco to be advetised in motosport. I dunno how true it is though.
