How long would it take to strip down all paintable parts on a 05 cbr1000

Default How long would it take to strip down all paintable parts on a 05 cbr1000

I am flurting with the idea of a new color and was wondering if anyone has stripped there bike down and how long did it take? I mean everything tank and all!

It depends how well you want it to turn out and how many people you have helping.

I would say you are looking about a days work.

If you have an air compressor and a d.a. it probably wont take too long. Maybe like 5 hrs?

vtx 1300 it took 4 hours to strip it down for paint

i stripped a full uncrashed 05cbr1000rr with NO air tools using zip locks for bolts as i took them off in 3 hours... 4 MAX...(with the break)

depends how well you know what you are doing and if you did it before ..
where are you located..???

not long at all, you could strip it all down in under 2 hours. Definitely worth it if your good at painting.
