I live in the 31st and Sheridan area. You doing much riding in this heat?
Hoping our little cool front lasts into the weekend. I found a couple of fun runs in the Sapulpa area, I want to re-visit.

Hello,Yes I have been riding, you know when the wind blows on you at 70mph even though it feels like a blow dryer its still cooler than sitting still. I dont like this rain however. I actually live around 31st and 145th st.

Nice to meet you.Where you moving from?OKC is approx 1-1/2hours from where i am but connected by a turnpike.Lots of fun stuff in ok city.I was beginning to think OK had no one on this forum.

I will be moving to the Shawnee area, and my new job is in Moore. I don't do a whole lot of riding in this heat, due to my 954 not liking it, lol. I'm actually having charging issues right now, will probably be fixed by the time I move though. Are there any sport bike clubs around OKC?

f2medic 08-12-2011 12:19 AM

Im sure there are,I dont personally know cause I live in Tulsa, but Craigslist usually has some invites under motorcycles for sale every once in a while.

I know this is an old thread but I just joined and don't really know anyone in the area to ride with. It feels great outside, so if anyone wants some company on a cruise hit me up.

I'd love a chance to go running with a few others, too.

Been doing my strafing on New Prue Road, southern Osage County,
Supalpa back-roads, Redbud Valley and cheap thrills on the Chandler/River run.

I have to say though, being newly-minted back into riding (less than 2k miles),
I suck. Wavey lines, bobbly braking and middling concentration/focus. Still building the
whole 'trust-issues' with a new bike, too. My low/crawl speed precision ain't any
prettier, either. Still, gotta start somewhere. At least I know my deficiencys, lol.
So blistering paces are out for me, right now. I still like the 'sport' more than the 'touring', though.

Throw me a friend invite, if you're interested, Ern
