Hello, I am helping a neighbour clear out his garage of general stuff. And the money we are raising is going towards getting his CBR1000F back on the road. A few years ago a drunk broke in stole it and crashed it down the street. Now all it needs is a L/H Bamper Damper (if that's what it's called.)

I am struggling to find one anywhere and figured where else would better to ask than the owners forum?

If anyone knows anyone selling one (his is blue with a small red stripe if that's any help) or knows where we can buy one that would be great.

I think it's probably the fairing filler strip that fits into the side fairing over the small crashbar ?

I bought one earlier this year - may be on backorder.

If you can't find one the correct colour, you could buy the correct colour paint from www.colorite.com.
It's a perfect match to the original and comes in spraycans, small touchup bottles or bigger quantities.

I saw the post back in 2006 but there was no links etc

They don't have it in blue so I'll ask my neighbour, see if he wants to order one then get it painted.
