Fairing Protector Piece- Right Side

It's a long shot, but I'm looking for the small plastic "protector" piece from the right lower fairing that covers the tipover guard on third generation 1000's. I'd prefer black in color but any color will do. Ron Ayres lists these for about $41, but I'd rather not spend that for a 6 x 2 inch piece of plastic.

Ok. I just had an epiphany. I checked Ron Ayres for the price of tha protector for second gen bikes, and the price is $17. So, does anyone know if this will fit a third gen, or could someone post pics of this piece along with detailed measurements.

Hey:

They are shaped different, they could be be made to fit but would take alot of fiddling to get to look right. I think they look fine without them, when filled with SS mesh screen and real frame protectors (Delrin bobbins). They are a way overpriced piece of plastic, for an item thats whole purpose, is cheap replacement for when you crash. Kinda makes you wonder on the reason for its pricing.
