Hey all,

So I'm working on getting some parts ready and obtained to start my tear down and rebuild of the CBR after this riding season. (I have a thread started but don't know how to put a link in here)

I have attached some pictures of the parts of the bike that I need.
- the plastic piece that covers the fuse
-the right side dog ear cover on the inside

Also if anyone has a complete front cowl (the part that covers the headlight and windscreen and the such) that would be GREAT. the one I have right now on the bike is put back together with bad fiberglass work and plastic sheeting (not my work) and I have one in ok condition that I plan to fix up but, having a complete one would be awesome.

 

A lot of the pars you're looking for are commonly found on ebay. Don't forget to narrow the search for 1988 parts as well.

thanks. I have at least 5 saved searches that update me every day of new things for the bike on eBay. I have seen the dog ear covers for sure and have ordered one that ended up being the wrong side (not my fault sellers fault). then he shipped the replacement to the wrong address. so now I have a new left side which in honest is in better condition than my left side was but, really wanted the right side. I have seen the front cowls on eBay. I purchased the one that I am currently working on restoring from eBay but again just looking for a complete one. saw one about a week ago but, it sold before I could get funds for it. the only part I have never seen on eBay is the fuse cover plastic. I've seen the other side but, not that side.
