Default Looking for a descent Corbin Seat for CBR-1000F 1996

Hello guys,

Who can offer me a nice looking and descnet Corbin seat for my Honda CBR-1000F of 1996 (with DBCS - Dual Brake Combined System).

Is there any difference in the fitting of the seat models from year '90 to year '93 - '99???

As my CBR-type is already "face lifted" version, I remember from 1993 the model CBR-1000F has changed the rear part... So therefore my question if I can buy a second hand Corbin seat from an older model, to be sure it fits perfectly on my motorbike...

Thx. for the advice where to find such a Corbin Seat at a reasonable price (second hand).

Hope to hear from you soon!!! Please send me a mail if you have found any Corbin Seat, suited for my CBR-1000F of 1996.

Thx for the nice advice...

Gino

Best place would be e-Bay.uk or maybe contact Harry the Hamster - he had a nice one made in England for about 60 pounds.

Ditto...just got mine in yesterday. It looks great, and judging from previous experience, I'm sure it will feel great too. The only thing I didn't like is that the last seats i bought from there used full-grain leather, and this one appears to me to be split grain...just doesn't look as nice. But, as long is it's comfy I don't care enough to send it back for that.`

Hey, how did you attach the trim ring for the petcock? I was considering screwing it on, but maybe I'll just trim it flat and glue it on.

If you ain't happy with it don't do chit to it yet ........send it back and bitch
about the leather ........they are all about customer satisfaction.

Petcock ring is a pain in the *** .......go easy I got mine to stay on with existing
grommets..........but it took a while...........also mine did not fit exactly
flush to the petcock.........there's a lot of pushin' and shovin' getting them right.

Here is what my new Corbin looks like. Under $300 U.S. new, as I recall.

They might be getting fewer and fewer orders, and/or dropping prices due to this fabulous economy we are enjoying.
