Soon to be old bike with 109,000 miles on her.
Fairings off due to the constant maintenance, was the second best modification making roadside repairs easier (brick to the oil filter, emergency radiator cooling when city riding in heat waves to name the worst)
Ugly or pretty, i don’t know but i love this look either way. I removed the right mirror testing lean angle on cold country roads, my friend removed the left with a shutter door.
Kinda proud that she became a lot of peoples wake up call to get ready for work.
just like to say i don’t thing of this as a true cbr but a hornet dressed up, like emo kids at a Motörhead gig. but one thing i can say about her is she kept up with the big boys and shamed a lot of 600’s out there. All this took it’s toll though and she’s unwell, 109,000 miles and only the chassis, tank and wheels are whats left from factory unaltered so she’s going to stay with my friend who will see her to her end.
I’ll be on a 17 blade from here on out but i just wanted to see if resilience (i finally found a name) would get cbr of the month.
