I have just unloaded my new purchase of a
CBR 750 HURICANE and after reading a few on line blogs that the 1987 1988 was a very rare bike .
Everything works ,starts runs stops but has a dreaded tappet rattle to be looked into Fairing is in Excellent condition for the age and looks like it was a true bargain.
If the bike is as rare as some have mentioned I will look into a sympathetic restoration.
Hen I was told the bike ran I was a bit suspicious but she runs very smoothly apart from the tappet/ cam drive noise.
Any assistance regarding the tappet adjustment teqnique would be well received as I have no idea if it has shims or adjustable tappets as I do not have a Workshop manual apart from CB500 CB650 CB750 manual which I found in a jumble s How rare is the CBRF750 Hurricane Aero How rare is the CBRF750 Hurricane Aero
