*January 2012 ROTM Voting Thread*
First one of the new year! Little slow, but that's ok... it's January. It's cold here. :D
Here are the rules: 1. Only contestants and staff are allowed to post in this thread. All other comments will be deleted. 2. Only 1 vote per IP. Cheating is wack. That's it! Now on to the contestants: nuttynu https://cbrforum.com/forum/picture.p...&dl=1326258474 flyingpig70 https://cbrforum.com/forum/picture.p...&dl=1326059618 vfrman https://cbrforum.com/forum/picture.p...&dl=1326301527 ** As always, if any contestant would like me to switch their main photo in this thread, just let me know. You're also more than welcome to post up whatever pics/mod lists you'd like. Good luck! |
My CBR has been my daily driver for the last three years. She has never left me stranded and is actually pretty comfortable. I rode it one year to the MotoGP in San Marino. I have done many mods to the bike to make it better to ride as a commuter. The riding position for the most part works well for me because I am only 5'6" tall.
Mods include: Complete 929 front end swap with 17" wheel EBC Pro Lite rotors Carbon front mudguard Eurospec headlight switch Zero Gravity dark smoked double bubble screen HID bixenon projectors and angel eyes Reverse Illumiglo gauges with white faces and kph speedo (Italy!) Carbon gauge bezel covers RAM mount in steering stem for GPS 12v power outlet on left fill panel (wired through dedicated relay and fuse block) Valter Moto Components bar end weights K&N Filter Dynojet jet kit Skorpion (Akrapovic) full stainless system with carbon canister Attack Performance rear sets Speedo healer Vortex rear sprocket/DID chain 520 conversion Ventura pack system Clear rear turn signals That should about cover it. The HID projectors are far and away the best mod on the bike. Before I could see fairly well with the high beams on and not well at all with lows. Now I see everything very well with low beams and high beams are phenomenal. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow. |
I have had my CBR900rr since April of 1993. Bought it new, and it has been great since day one.
