i'm probably not the best person to ask but i just bought a 954 about 2 months ago and i love it. it is my first bike and i find it easy to ride. yes it is powerful and yes it is insanely quick but as long as you're riding in your comfort zone and are careful you should be alright.

 

I got everything put together but the bike will not fire up. It just cranks and does not fire. I am going to double check some things and try to get it running today. Any suggestions are welcome.

 

I'm sure it's something easy - most likely with the wiring. Just take your time, you'll find it.

 

Well found the problem I am not getting any spark. I do not believe it is the plugs and it is not a wiring issue I double checked the harness and everything is plugged in properly. What are my options, because once I get spark I believe it will fire right up.

 

Sorry for bumping a 2 month old thread... I just picked up a 2003 CBR954RR two weeks ago for my first bike I absolutely love it.

I agree with someone above, it is extremely fast and torque-y, but as long as you ride it with respect, it's not a big deal.
