What RPM levels do you shift and cruise at?
 

Hey kind of a newbie question, but i've only had my 954 for like 2 weeks and because of this freak snow storm in VA i've only been able to get out for one good ride. But was just curious around what RPM do ya'll shift at through each gear and usually level out and cruise at? With my 929 i usually would cruise around the 45 - 5000 mark, haven't really been able to get a real good feel for the 954 yet so was just seeing what the averages were.

Depending on the situation, traffic-wise, I'll generally shift anywhere from 4-7. I try to keep the rev's at around 5-6 while cruising.

I concur with Chuck1073... I usually shift somewhere near the 5k mark on average... For cruising... The 954 should be pretty similar to the 929 in most regards...

Thanks guys... it's hasn't seen anything out of 30 degrees but supposed to be in the 60s this weekend so hopefully I can take her out for a nice ride. Yea sounds like it won't be really any different from the 929.
